EN: This past weekend, I was feeling slightly ill. However, I did have a lunch date with Ellen, so I put together a comfortable and warm, yet chique kind of outfit. When I'm not feeling well, it kind of seems to help me to put on some make-up and wear heels. It sounds crazy, but I instantly feel like it's all not that bad, haha! Also, the sun really helped with that as well! Being able to wear my favorite polka dot sunglasses and shooting in the sun, made me feel so much better! And what do you think of my socks? They're from the same kind of material as tights and I really love that the pattern is made from alternately sheer and opaque stripes.
The wind was blowing so hard when we took these photos, but I actually really love how my hair is flowing in these photos! So, what do you think of this outfit?

EN: Last week, I made a blog post about the belt over scarf trend. I really liked all the different outfits I found with a belt over a scarf, so I decided to try this trend myself! I went for my favorite big scarf; the plaid and houndstooth reversible scarf from Primark. The rest of the look is black, but I decided to make it slightly more interesting by adding the houndstooth socks! Personally, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this outfit yet. I do like the total look of it, but I think I would have liked it even better if the scarf was a bit thinner. But I just really liked the idea of the reversible print in combination with the belt. On the other hand, it was a really warm and cosy outfit! I'm definitely going to try a belt over scarf outfit again later, with a thinner scarf! So, what do you think of my first attempt at the belt over scarf trend? And did you try this trend yet?

EN: Since I bought a new pair of black high waisted skinny jeans in New York in November, I already wore them quite some times! So, I figured it was about time to make a 'Ways To Wear' post about my favorite (and only, can you believe it?!) pair of jeans! You can combine black high waisted skinny jeans with basically everything, but I thought it would be fun to show you how I like to wear them as an extra inspiration! I usually like to wear them with a fun print or outstanding colour, to give the look something extra. Also, I really like to wear them with fun, printed socks and/or a beret. I'm wearing a beret in 6 out of the 8 outfits below, haha! So, off to the looks! Which is your favorite? And how do you wear black high waisted skinny jeans?

EN: On the day that we shot these photos, I really felt like wearing a preppy style outfit. So, I decided to wear a shirt underneath my sweater and added a pearl necklace. I got the shirt from Ellen, when she sorted out her closet. I really love that both the shirt and the sweater have a grid print, but that the colors are reversed and the grid is slightly different. Also, my hair was a bit greasy that day and I ran out of dry shampoo, so wearing a pony tail was the only option, haha! But, I do think the pony tail is a perfect match with the rest of this look! And the pearl elastic totally adds to the preppyness! And last, but not least, I added my polka dot socks to finish this preppy print mix combo! What do you think?

EN: I use my faux leather backback multiple times a week when I go grocery shopping. It's so big and handy! But it's also a very pretty bag, so why not show it to you in this outfit post?! I was wearing my super high waisted tweed-ish pencil skirt, which I bought from Anna Nooshin at the NSMBL super sale. I combined it with a black sweater with a cute lace and pearl collar and added my favorite shoes and beret to finish the look! What do you think?
