EN: Last sunday, I went to a huge monthly flea market in Amsterdam with my mom. I've been there twice before and I would have been there about a million times if only the dates suited me, haha! Somehow, I always have something else planned on their dates, so I was very happy I was finally able to go there again. Strolling around a flea market demands an outfit with flat shoes, so the shoes were the starting point of this outfit. And I'm actually pretty happy how this look turned out! It really has this Coco Chanel-ish feel to it, for me!
When I shot these photos with Nathalie, the weather was really strange. At some moments rain was pouring really hard and then, 5 minutes later, the sun would be out again shining bright. So, when the sun came back again, we decided to try something new with the light. And wow, I love how it turned out! The photos look so mysterious and magical, don't you think?! I would love to hear what you think of this chique though comfy look and of the photos!
P.S. This saturday, I'm going to a 'vintage per kilo' shopping event. Would you like to see a shoplog video in which I show you my flea market and vintage per kilo buys? If so, I will make one!

EN: A little while ago I made a post about where to buy the prettiest A-line and pencil midi skirts and I asked you whether you would like to see a post about which type of midi skirts fits best for different body types (more specifically body lengths!) and how to combine them without looking short. And all I got was positive comments of you saying you would love to read that, so here's part 1!
I often get comments like “Midi skirts look so good on you, but they would never look good on me!”, but I don’t believe that! There’s a midi skirt for everyone! The trick is to wear the right shape and length of a midi skirt and how to combine it! In this post, I’m telling you about the first of these two. I will talk about the latter in a follow up post!

EN: Sometimes, you just quickly have to be ready to go. And lately, this is has been the outfit I wore at such occasions! It's simple and it even looks chique! I got this sweater two years ago and it's been my favorite ever since. Just simply wear it with black jeans and heels and you have a chique looking outfit! How great?! So, it's no surprise that I've been wearing this look very often, lately! When I go grocery shopping, when going for an unplanned night of playing pool with the bf, when I went out for dinner and I didn't have enough time to think of an outfit... This outfit actually seems to fit every occasion! So, can you blame me for wearing it over and over again? What is your current ready to go look?

EN: As you might have read in an earlier post, I started taking rock 'n roll dance lessons together with my boyfriend at Café Clandestien in Amsterdam. We both love it so much! We already went to several rock 'n roll parties and in the beginning of September we're going to the Rock 'n Roll Street festival together with Café Clandestien. And what's even more fun; the new courses will start very soon, so you can now join us! The lessons will start on September 10th! In this post, I will tell you all about Café Clandestien, rock 'n roll lessons, where and when this all takes place, how much it costs and why this is so super fun to do!

EN: There are two trends which are just a match made in heaven to me; midi skirts and crop tops! And the great thing is, you don't even need to buy crop tops to be able to wear them! Sometimes I feel a shirt would do an outfit more justice when worn as a crop top, so I just simply fold the lower part of the shirt inside the top. I made a litle how to video for that last year! Recently, the summer seems to be starting to get to an end here, so I took my faux leather jacket out again. Combined with bare legs and my beloved strappy sandals, of course! Gotta keep them legs and feet out for as long as possible! Or, at least, that's how I feel, haha! How about you? In the mean time, bare legs are not really possible anymore. This was last saturday. But I'm still secretly hoping for a nice Indian summer! What do you think of this look?

EN: As you might know from earlier posts or my Instagram page, I went on a biking holiday with my boyfriend. Because of the weather turning bad, we went home early, but the three days we had were amazing! You see so much more of the Netherlands by bike than by train or car! I would totally recommend it! We bumped into so many lovely Dutch sceneries, like wind mills, cows in meadows, enormous meadows for as far as you can see, canals, small creeks, boats, bridges and scenic farms and villages! In this post I'm showing you every lovely thing we bumped into during our trip and I will share the names of the villages where I took the shots, if I remember them. There is only one shot of our trip from Utrecht to Gouda, because it started raining cats and dogs very quickly after we left and it didn't stop until we arrived in Utrecht, like I also mentioned in this outfit post. But that one shot happens to be my favorite of them all! I hope you'll like this very Dutch post!
