EN: Today, I'm showing my second outfit from Amsterdam Fashion Week. I got the scalloped polka dot jacket at Primark a little while ago for only €10 and I love it so much! I really felt like it had to be worn with a belt, to accentuate the waist. Luckily, it was a lot less cold than my previous day at fashion week, so it was possible to wear a thinner pair of tights this time. I think the beret and earrings really finish this look. Haha, did you already notice it seems like I have a beret stuck to my head? I simply can't help it. They give almost every outfit just that little bit extra! So, what do you think?
P.S. Don't forget to join in to win a lovely green retro style skirt by Who's That Girl!

EN: Wooooo, it's my birthday! I'm turning 24! And as the Dutch saying goes:"Who has their birthday, shall provide treats!" It sounds a lot better in Dutch, I promise, haha! Therefore, today seemed the perfect day to post this give away! Remember this outfit, in which I was wearing a Who's That Girl dress? Well, I also got to pick an item to give away to one of you! I went for this super pretty retro style green skirt (worth €59,95), which you can see in the picture below. The skirt is a size M. Would you like to win this beauty? I'm telling you how you can participate below!

EN: Last saturday, I went to two shows at Amsterdam FashionWeek. The first of these two shows was the Smart presents SIS by Spijkers&Spijkers show, in which the fall/winter 2015/2016 collection was presented. They named the collection 'MetamorphoSIS', which is a reference to an absurdistic book by Franz Kafka, in which the main character wakes up on a giant insect. Therefore, insects can be found on sweaters, in accessories and in prints. Next to their signature colourful dresses and graphic colourblock prints, they started the show with a range of amazing grid printed items. I love this collection so much! I would love to wear nearly any of the items! I'm especially in love with the grid midi skirt, the grid dress, the blue plaid dress, the yellow dress and the dark blue dress with insect print.
This FashionWeek, my photos turned out so much better! So, I decided to share all of the photos I have of this show. I think I only missed about 3 looks. This way, you can experience the show from my perspective, even if you weren't there yourself! I hope you like it!

Hello there sweeties!
EN: Last saturday, I went to two shows at Amsterdam Fashion Week. I'm thinking about posting a little more than usual this week, because I have so much fashion week material! How would you feel about that? Anyway, I really felt like going 50s vintage style that day. And, as it was really cold (it even had snowed that morning!), I decided to wear my favorite vintage gloves. I bought them in Edinburgh when I was visiting my best friend who was studying there at the time. They're from the 50s and I think they are so perfect! I feel like they totally finish this look! Personally, I really like the combo of the three quarter sleeves and the gloves. I hope you do too! So, what do you think?

EN: Oh, it has been so cold in Amsterdam these past few days! So, that's exactly why I'm wearing a coat and my warmest scarf and gloves in this look! When we shot the photos of this outfit, it was also super foggy! But this actually turned out to create quite photogenic sceneries. On my way home, I stepped off my bike a few times to take some snaps and I added them in between the outfit shots. I love how those photos have such a mysterious vibe. But what to wear on a cold and foggy day? I know all I wanted was to stay warm, so I quickly decided I needed to wear this fun plaid and houndstoothed scarf, which is about the warmest scarf I own. Also, I decided to go for a little pattern mix, by wearing a striped top and my houndstooth socks. What do you think?

EN: A little while ago, I received a message that there exists a trademark on my current blog name 'Red Sonja'. This means that the company which bought this trademark, has the only right to use this name. I wasn't aware of this at all! Long story short: the company who has this trademark e-mailed me about this and we agreed that I was going to change my blog name, as I'm not exactly looking for any legal problems ;-)
At first, I was a little bummed about this, to say the least. My blog is my little baby and you've started to get to know me as 'Red Sonja'. However, I think I found the perfect new name for my blog! I think this name describes my blog and style perfectly and is also very recognizable.
