EN: Last saturday, I went to two shows at Amsterdam Fashion Week. I'm thinking about posting a little more than usual this week, because I have so much fashion week material! How would you feel about that? Anyway, I really felt like going 50s vintage style that day. And, as it was really cold (it even had snowed that morning!), I decided to wear my favorite vintage gloves. I bought them in Edinburgh when I was visiting my best friend who was studying there at the time. They're from the 50s and I think they are so perfect! I feel like they totally finish this look! Personally, I really like the combo of the three quarter sleeves and the gloves. I hope you do too! So, what do you think?

EN: Oh, it has been so cold in Amsterdam these past few days! So, that's exactly why I'm wearing a coat and my warmest scarf and gloves in this look! When we shot the photos of this outfit, it was also super foggy! But this actually turned out to create quite photogenic sceneries. On my way home, I stepped off my bike a few times to take some snaps and I added them in between the outfit shots. I love how those photos have such a mysterious vibe. But what to wear on a cold and foggy day? I know all I wanted was to stay warm, so I quickly decided I needed to wear this fun plaid and houndstoothed scarf, which is about the warmest scarf I own. Also, I decided to go for a little pattern mix, by wearing a striped top and my houndstooth socks. What do you think?

EN: A little while ago, I received a message that there exists a trademark on my current blog name 'Red Sonja'. This means that the company which bought this trademark, has the only right to use this name. I wasn't aware of this at all! Long story short: the company who has this trademark e-mailed me about this and we agreed that I was going to change my blog name, as I'm not exactly looking for any legal problems ;-)
At first, I was a little bummed about this, to say the least. My blog is my little baby and you've started to get to know me as 'Red Sonja'. However, I think I found the perfect new name for my blog! I think this name describes my blog and style perfectly and is also very recognizable.

EN: About two weeks ago, I was introduced to a fun colourful retro style brand called Who's That Girl. They have a store in the Reestraat in Amsterdam, but also in Berlin, Antwerp, Gent and Hasselt. I really like how all the items are very colourful, but very wearable at the same time! And I was allowed to take an item from their autumn/winter collection home with me. I went for this blue and red button up dress and decided to make the entire look colourful by adding a red necklace, red belt, red tights and cherry earrings. I personally really like these sort of colour combo's! How about you?
P.S. I also picked another item, which I will be giving away to one of my readers soon, so keep posted for a fun give away!

EN: Every month, around mid-month, I share my favorite inspiring blogger outfits of that month with you! So this time, this includes mostly winter outfits. In this way, you might also get some inspiration for your own winter outfits! I especially love all those snowy outfit shots! And I'm not even that big a fan of snow, or even cold for that matter, but it sure looks pretty! I wouldn't mind doing a fabulous snow shoot one time this year! Anyway, you can find links to the blogs below the photos. Which outfit do you like best?

EN: The last few days, it has been quite challenging to get outfit photos shot. Either there was a very fierce wind, it was raining or there was simply no one available to shoot my photos before it got dark. So, that's when I decided it was the perfect time to try a photoshoot in the dark. I've been wanting to try this for a very long time, but somehow I never got to actually doing it. Until last wednesday night! Me and my boyfriend had some time left before we went to our rock 'n roll dance lesson, so we took my camera and tripod out and just went for it! And boy, am I happy I finally tried this! The photos turned out pretty good I think! They are a little bit grainy here and there, but that's just what happens when you shoot with a high ISO. But I really like how the atmosphere is so different from daylight photos. I'm definitely going to do this again! I can already imagine doing a shoot at night in front of the Eiffel Tower. Oh, how perfect that would be?! Anyway, I was just wearing a simple look which I like to wear for our dance class with flat shoes. What do you think of the outfit and photos?
